Hello everyone !

The time has come once again to have our huge fluorescent mineral fieldtrip at the

Sterling Hill Mining Museum. The Superdigg this year will be much like the years past

and hopefully the weather will be just as good! The date is set for April 24th. I plan to

donate about 500 pounds of minerals to the museum to help kick off this great event.

I would highly recommend registering at www.uvworld.org prior to the event. There you

will also find all the information you need. Hope to see you all there !!

Interested in specimens such as this and others?

You can find them in the sales section !

Fluorescent mineral collecting is such a fascinating hobby that never ceases to amaze the individual armed with an ultraviolet lamp. There is an abundance of things that nature has given us and yet it remains for all practical purposes a hidden world just waiting to be discovered. In these pages you'll find a slideshow of some of my discoveries over the years, pictures of the places I've visited and collected plus anything else I think might be of use to all the "Glowhounds". Enjoy !!!

You can still find some great specimens out there.

All you need is time and a good eye !!

A Trotter Wall treasure after 3 hours of hard work

The Trotter Triple Diggg was a smashing success !!!

Maybe one day it will be opened again .....

Below is the original webpage for those that were there to remember that fun filled day. It was perfect weather and we got to show our hobby to the world via High Definition video too:)

This years sponsored dig was a smashing success!! We finally had a weekend filled with sunshine, warmth and smiling faces. A few noted faces from out of the past returned and it was a pleasure to chat and dig with them as well. But undoubtedly the most important event of the day and evening was provided by the professional film crew for Treasure HD filmed live in high definition! You can see photos by clicking on the arrow below or the image too.

The show is available on satellite and well worth the effort to see it!

At the Sterling Super Diggg we will be showing this video on continuous loop for all to see !!!

We lost a dear friend not too long ago. Nick Zipco was an inspiration to many of us who were fortunate enough to sit and have coffee and cake with him at his home. The days of seeing him selling his minerals at the Franklin Museum will be sadly missed.

If you knew Nick, take a moment to stop by and say hello.

Note: if anyone has photo's of Nick they feel should be included here please send them along.
